(Boot)

once clean jean’s blue knees greened by grass stains

colour red;

                                             not all stones are smooth

you are beside yourself

contemplating bric-a-brac

porcelain mice or

                                             other people’s garbage

                                             destined for the loft

anything but I and plastic dinosaurs
