Morana Proxima

after Damien Hirst

Chaotic leftover light
the building stares at you
with an eye on the wall
you are a planet a tiny dust particle
and each of you
planetariums

place the paintbrush
a bash to the head
teeth knocked out
a splash of white

expanding single point
that unlocks the distance
between you and me
a recombined deuterium
horizoned skeleton key

fake dwarf stars
diamonds on your neck
poster paints run away

cyan, magenta, crude green
you spin on canvas
no fear of death  death
just rides along.
