Aer

a white, rectangular room. nothing of its rectangulari ty makes
it whiter than other rooms. nothing of its w hiteness enhances that
rectangularity. it contains no windows, balusters or motifs; these
cannot be contai ned. its air is kept at a constant temperature and
flow -rate. those objects within count days by clicking hee ls, unseen
clocks. when they have only themselves to see they marvel at each
other for uninterupted hours.
