Issue #1

Untitled

To slip into a dream where you cannot fade
A moment of bliss passes,
Unnoticed.
Life suspended within a glance,
Never to be recaptured.

A perfect white pearl,
Two minds combined,
Under boundless sky,
Resting on endless sand.

Sparkling sleepy-eyed shadows
Chance upon gentle waves.
An old master,
Wearied from chasing a fading vision
Through the dying light,
Covers over his portrait,
Leaving it to rest.

Your hand brushes my arm.
I feel your heart beat,
Miles away
On distant shores,
Awaiting the heat of a brighter sun.

In the solitude of a white-walled room

I remember your profile,
Turned downwards,
In the light from my window,
And the sweet smell of you,
Left in the space by my head,

On the pillow
