Anna and the Earth

The sky lends its tears to
a mortal - a girl who leans

against a window, talks to
her beloved mother
who is not lost, but
immortalised.
Colour of eyes and hair
swept into the rich earth and
painted on the bark of trees.
The wind is not a whisper,
but a reflection of a mood -
she finds an embrace in the breeze.

The sky lends its tears to
a mother -  a spirit who watches,
concealed by eternity,
her beloved daughter
who feels lost
in the world.
Two souls,
once completed each other
were parted for a moment
but reunited.

The sky cries, covers the Earth with a blanket of  darkness
and leaves some stars for a little light
like a mother who kisses her daughter goodnight.
